La Maestrina dalla Penna Rossa, così chiamata per la piuma che porta sul cappello, è probabilmente l’unico personaggio del libro “Cuore” dietro cui, secondo varie fonti, bisogna riconoscere una figura storica, assai probabilmente la maestra Eugenia Barruero, vissuta a Torino in Largo Montebello 38, dove oggi una targa la ricorda.
