Mostro Mio è una collana di libri accattivante, con coloratissime illustrazioni e dal formato maneggevole, che si rivolge a un pubblico di lettori a partire dai 7 anni.
Dovete sapere che le paure esistono, sono appiccicose e sono dei mostri difficili da sconfiggere, assumono forme diverse e sono capaci di nascondersi nell’angolo più buio della stanza, ma soprattutto ogni bambino ne possiede almeno una…
Non è detto però che tutte le paure debbano essere sconfitte (le paure ci aiutano a stare all’erta e a non commettere troppi errori), a volte è sufficiente “conviverci”. Ed è quello che fanno Leo, Ollie, Ren e Mia, ovvero la squadra Calmamostri!
I quattro ragazzi custodiscono un segreto: hanno scoperto che il modo migliore per sconfiggere una paura è farsela amica prima che diventi gigante e pericolosa, e loro l’hanno fatto davvero, infatti convivono con i loro mostri personali!
Hanno imparato che ogni bambino ha un Megamostro accanto che aspetta solo il momento propizio per uscire e prendere il sopravvento ma, con quel mostro è necessario familiarizzare, prima che diventi incontenibile.
Questa è la missione della squadra Calmamostri che in ogni volume affronta (e contiene) una paura diversa.
Nel terzo capitolo della collana, quello dedicato alla notte più spaventosa dell’anno, Ollie è di cattivo umore perché deve badare al suo cuginetto Rudy mentre con gli amici va di casa in casa a fare “dolcetto o scherzetto?”.
Rudy però ha una paura che non si è ancora rivelata, anche se il bambino esprime cautamente la sua fobia degli sconosciuti.
Una casa stregata rivelerà finalmente il Megamostro di Rudy, che però sembra essere qualcosa di diverso, qualcosa mai visto dalla squadra Calmamostri…
