Il sabato è il giorno più bello della settimana: il risveglio è più dolce, la colazione è più buona.
Ma questo sabato è il più bello di tutti, perché piove!
Matilda porta con sé la sorellina piccola Nina (che non vuole uscire) per farle conoscere la bellezza dei giorni di pioggia. Quando piove l’aria profuma di terra, si possono catturare le gocce d’acqua con la lingua, si può saltare nelle pozzanghere e si trovano i vermi che escono dai loro nascondigli…
Gesti semplici, quasi scontati, ma che coinvolgono il lettore perché possa sempre godere delle piccole cose.
